Testing

After you’ve done the integration, of course it’s important to test it, to make sure everything works properly. You can do guest checkouts with fake credit card informations or login with one of our fake customers to do the checkout and see helloPay from the customer point of view. Besides doing a checkout as a logged in customer, you can also test the whole customer service area with these fake accounts.

If you can’t connect to helloPay with the api calls, your Shop might not have a SSL certificate. Try to turn the ssl certificate check off and test it again. However, this is not a permanent solution! Before going live you need to turn the check back on again and get a SSL certificate!

Going Live

If you’re ready to go live, all you have to do is change your ShopConfig in each api call and the api url you send the api calls to:

ShopConfig

Change the ShopConfig(API Key) to the one in your Merchant Account of the production website (www.hellopay.com.sg for Singapore) ->Account Settings -> API Key.

API Url

Also the ‘apiUrl’ needs to be changed from ‘https://sandbox.hellopay.com.sg’ to ‘https://www.hellopay.com.sg’ (.com.sg is just for Singapore, please use the right ending for the country you’re signed in).
