helloPay, Twilio and SurveyMonkey release "Odyssey of Growth" for Southeast Asia Startups

 

SINGAPORE, Oct. 27, 2015—helloPay, FinTech arm of Lazada Group, today announced the launch of Odyssey, a growth and mentoring program for startups in Southeast Asia, offered in partnership with Twilio and SurveyMonkey. A first of its kind, the program brings together the experience and expertise of domain leaders in payment, online survey and cloud communications, together on one platform. Odyssey aims to help startups in Southeast Asia scale up and effectively manage their growth challenges.

 

In Singapore, its first country of launch, Odyssey has already partnered with the Singapore FinTech Consortium, Incubasia Ventures, Muru-D, InspirAsia, and Startupbootcamp Fintech to support the startups in their portfolio. In the coming months, the programme will expand to the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

 

All the participating startups will be eligible to receive a host of services and mentorship from the Odyssey founding partners. This include monthly mentorship sessions and S$100,000 worth of free transactions from helloPay, customized professional services and advanced training for consumer research by SurveyMonkey, and free consumption credits between US$50 to US$250 to utilize Twilio's services. Twilio will also provide access to the Twilio Fund for startups using Twilio's platform to build mobile and web applications.
